Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and project plans to determine construction requirements.
Construct and repair structures including walls, foundations, roofs, and floors using various materials (brick, stone, concrete, timber).
Prepare construction sites by levelling ground, setting out foundations, and erecting temporary structures.
Install and repair structural frameworks, partitions, doorways, windows, and staircases.
Carry out demolition, excavation, and groundworks as needed.
Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations and site procedures.
Coordinate with electricians, plumbers, plasterers, and other trades for project continuity.
Maintain tools, equipment, and general site cleanliness.
Conduct quality inspections and report any issues or structural concerns to the site manager.
Proven experience as a Builder in a similar role, either in the UK or internationally.
Strong understanding of construction techniques, tools, and materials.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and construction plans.
Skilled in the use of a range of hand and power tools.
Solid understanding of health and safety practices on construction sites.
Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.
Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions.
NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Construction or Building Trades (preferred).
CSCS Card (preferred but not essential).
Full UK driving licence (preferred).
